Goodbye, my friend...

Shocking news for me this afternoon, when I know I couldn't have the chance to talk to you again.
My friend, the one that always open up to me.
We chat for hours about the past, the present and the future.
We gossip about girls, food and news
I still remember the first day we met,
we are only 9 years old, running here and there.
I still remember the days your arms got hurt, you were told to give up on school band.
But then, your effort has gained you another new path.
I still remember the days we trained together to join a competition, trained from days to nights, from weekdays to weekends, from training room to train station.
15 years of friendship, I will not forget as you will always in my heart.
Goodbye, my friend.
The first and also the last for me to say goodbye to you forever.

I still remember the days we sang and play Westlife's songs.
I never thought I have to play this song for you.
Here is for you, my friend.
Goodbye to you my trusted friend.

I will promise you to be strong and try not to cry on your... Your worst fear is to see girl's crying. I'll try my best, I promise.

Froggy Milk Tea Cafe 青蛙王子热狗奶茶专卖店| Petaling Street

I went to Petaling Street the other day to look for some wholesale beads and came across this cute little cafe. It is located opposite of ATC college, just a few shops away from the Old China Cafe. The cafe was named as Froggy Milk Tea Cafe with a big frog as the logo and whole place is painted with green. It is hard for you not to notice the striking colour of the cafe.

This is a new cafe which is just started their business few months ago and I got info from the owner that they recently just started to sell food instead of beverages only, but the variety of food are quite limited for the time being.

Here is the menu of their beverages: All ranges of milk tea, tea, coffee and fruit tea are sold here.

Froggy Milk Tea-RM4.90
BF ordered their signature milk tea recommend by the owner. It taste not bad, better than those ordinary milk tea. The potion of milk and tea are combined in a right ratio that makes the milk tea taste thick and fluffy. Must Try!

Froggy Black Tea-RM4.90
I ordered their Black Tea since I am looking for refreshing beverage. Their Black Tea taste much or less the same as any other milk tea shops. Nothing to shout about.

Nuggets-RM 6
We were planing to order their fried dumplings, unfortunately they are not selling it on that day. Instead, we ordered nuggets as snack. Normal frozen nuggets that can be bought from supermarket.

Hot and Spicy Szechuan Noodle (Dry)-RM 6
This is their signature dish that I would highly recommend. The owner recommended us to try their hot and spicy szechuan noodle and BF ordered the dry type. The noodle texture taste like the wan tan mee noodle but a bit thicker. The hot and spicy sauce taste so nice with minced meat on top, splendid combination! Be caution, the noodle taste quite spicy, I would rate it 6/10. But if you like more spicy you could request them to add more chilli oil on the noodles. Must Try!

Hometown Fried Rice with White Bait-RM 6
I like the fragrant of the fried rice because of the fried white bait on top. Although, it is not much but a little makes all the different. If you are looking for rice instead of noodles, you can try this.

Timberland Warehouse Sale 14-16 Dec 2012 Review

Hey guys! It's the Timberland warehouse sale this weekend!. As you might already know, Timberland is quite a prestigious brand here in Malaysia, so I went on over to take a look at what they have to offer.

For those who are not familiar with Taman Tun area, you can search google maps for the co-ordinates (3.143998,101.63335); there is no building there in the map but trust me, it;s there. The full name of the building is Wisma Bakti Siti Hasmah, you can drive inside the compound and park your car wherever you want. It's free as far as I know.

As you can see above, they pretty much have a fixed price structure for all the items in the sale. You might find some items that do not match the price list but its just a case of wrong tagging. Basically you need to know is: All collar men's shirt are: RM99; Polo Tees: RM99; T shirts: RM59, Jeans & Pants: RM139, Jacket: RM299, Backpack: RM179.

The crowd wasn't much on Friday evening, the place was quite comfortable, air-conditioning is cool and you don't feel hot and humid at all. So it's enjoyable to shop around, well done! As for the items for sale, the designs do not vary much, I guess the thing that is most worth to be bought are shoes, or boots. We know that Timberland boots costs around RM500+ in the shopping malls... here you get 1 pair for RM199 or RM299, depending on the designs. And if you buy 3 pairs, you get another RM100 discount extra. So with RM500 you can actually get 3 pairs of Timberland shoes... what a deal!

But unfortunately, we weren't shopping around for shoes this time. We bought 2 short sleeve shirts and one long sleeve shirt (with stripes) for RM297. The quality of the shirts are very good, they still seem quite new and I think its really worth the money. I expect that my BF will be wearing these shirts for many years to come.

So what you're waiting for? Hurry up and get over there and grab some Timberlands now!

Nose Warehouse Sale, 5-8 Dec 2012 Review

I went to the warehouse sale last Friday evening. It was located at the same place as the last warehouse sale. I was looking forward for the warehouse sales since I need some new pairs of shoes for work. The warehouse sale started from 5th-8th Dec 2012. If you missed it this time, no worries, I believe they will have it going again next year.

The warehouse was a big place to arrange all the shoes neatly according to their sizes. However, the crowd was there when I arrived and I have some difficulty moving around and picking the shoes. Then, a larger crowd came after working hours. Most of the shoes are leftovers from the previous warehouse sale, not much variety except that the prices are much more lower than the previous one. They are giving out more discounts if you purchase more  pairs of shoes. For example like the photo below, 1 for RM10, 2 for RM18 and 3 for RM20. I can see that they are desperately wanting to clear the old stock off. As for the bags area, I was really disappointed with the management. Most of the bags are either broken or in very bad condition, I do not think it is presentable enough to be place on the shelf  although the prices range from RM5- RM20.

Finally, after 1 hour of picking and trying, I managed to get myself 3 pairs which cost me a total of RM60. I guess it is still cheap to get shoes that are in an acceptable condition. All the shoes came with a box to be scanned at the counter except for the RM 5 shoes.

Ladies with bigger shoe sizes always have the chance to get nicer shoes than the ordinary sized ladies (size 5-7). If you are, then the warehouse sale is where you should grab hold off! If not you will be like me who always watch and touch those shoes only. T.T

You can look on previous post of the warehouse sale in July.

Snowflake's Sesame Prosperity

Snowflake recently introduce two new flavours of dessert which is the Joyous Sorbet and Soya Blend. As a fan of them, I wouldn't want to miss any chance. Since I couldn't make a choice which to try it out, I ordered both, enjoy both taste with happiness.

Sesame Prosperity Soya Blend-RM 7.90
The base is a sesame soya ice which taste more like red bean paste with sesame, red beans, barley, green tea taro balls and beetroot taro balls. Just for your info, beetroot is a vegetable that contains high source of potent antioxidant and nutrient which is good for our cardiovascular health. However, not everyone can accept the smell and taste but Snowflake handle it very good.

Joyous Sorbet-RM 7.50
The base is a soya sorbet which taste slightly mild on the soya bean taste with red bean, barley, beetroot taros, green tea taros and a scope of sesame soya ice. I like this more than soya blend as it taste more mild for a dessert on a hot day.

Overall it taste not bad, a good try on the new items especially using beetroot, very creative idea on dessert. But I still prefer Ocha'ryo, green tea is still on top list! Try it out if you have not!
