Nasi Lemak Cikgu | Kelana Jaya

I went to have lunch with my family today at Nasi Lemak Cikgu. I bought 4 vouchers from everyday.com on Nasi Lemak Cikgu that cost RM4 each only. I saw a lot of people complaint after went there with voucher saying that the potion was smaller compare to the normal one. They feel cheated I think because the photos shown in the website is so much different. Before we sat down, dad went to the counter to ask about the vouchers. They did said that the potion will be smaller compare to the normal one. That's alright at least they admit it but when we ask for ice lemon tea instead of can drink they said we have to charge extra for the drink. Gosh..do they really know how to do business? A cup of ice lemon tea sold there is more cheaper than the can drink.. aren't they will earn more if they serve us ice lemon tea..
Nasi Lemak Set Meal contains
  • Nasi Lemak
  • Fried Chicken
  • Kerang / Sotong / Sardin
  • 1 Can of Drinks
The taste was just normal but if you ask me to pay RM10 for a plate of nasi lemak I think I'll have to think twice. There is a big sign stated self service means you have to order food at the counter before you can seated. The service was not really good over there too. The waiter or waitress didn't even smile at us when we arrived., their face look like we own them money..gosh..how can this business survive with this attitude.

Won Peter Pan The Musical

I have won two tickets to watch Peter Pan The Musical in Sunway Lagoon from all malaysian blogger yesterday. It was a nice 1 hour musical show. I do think that it is more suitable for parent to bring their children (under age 12) to watch but I do enjoy the show. One problem that I do found out in the show was music was played too loud and cover the actress and actor vocal (a bit hard to hear what they are singing). The dancing was not steady (a bit shaky) and some dancers miss their steps. Maybe the dancers were too tired because they are showing up in every scenes (same people act as the pirates, the indians and peter pan's friends). Yesterday, the whole Amphitheatre was empty, I got to upgrade from Blue zone to Red zone (have a nearer view). Just to arrived Amphitheatre, I have to walk about 5 minutes and take a mini train to the place. It is a bit inconvenient especially for those who tag along with a lot of children.

Anyway, I got four 50% vouchers (1 voucher use for 4 tickets) to the show. Anyone interested can left a comment to ask for it. I got it after the show, it were given free.

Here's the 1st clue:
Date & Time of Theft: 15 Nov 2010 @ 1930hours

Location: Projectionist’s Room @ TGV Cinemas
Details:
Just a month before the movie TRON: Legacy is due to premiere, the keys to the safe containing the show reels have been stolen from the projectionist’s room at TGV Cinemas.
Mark, the projectionist on duty the night of the theft had left the keys inside the miniature drawer rack before leaving to answer an urgent call of nature. When he returned minutes later, his work desk had been tampered with and the keys were no longer in the drawer. It was clearly a case of theft because the CCTV camera was broken and important evidence we
re found at the crime scene.
Case has so far been concluded as an inside job.
Key Evidence found at crime scene:
  • The fluffy keychain holding the stolen keys, left behind in the drawer. No fingerprints found.
  • A few strands of golden hair on the carpet

Premier Screening- Social Network

Today I went to Midvalley again with my brother. Yes I know you sure thinking what is that so fun about Midvalley that can make you go there 3 times in 1 week. I got a call from my friend yesterday to offer me a pair of free premier screening on Social Network. Thanks to her that I was able to know who is the founder of facebook (though I have been using facebook everyday) and his story.

So this movie is basically telling the true story of this Facebook's founder-Mark Zuckerberg. It isn't that boring story I expected but rather knowing the truth of other people make me enjoy want to know them more. To know above the whole story you can look through from here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1285016/synopsis or watch the movie which will be screening in the cinema on 2nd December 2010. Not a bad movie to watch just their conversation were a bit too fast, hard to capture what they are saying and the arrangement of story is a bit messy where the story jump here and there.

After the movie, of course we couldn't miss to have a full meal before going home. So, we want to a small food junction place in Gardens, we choose Oyster King stall. My brother went to have in Pavillion before but we thought of trying the Gardens outlet to see whether there is any different. The Yam cake and Wun Chai Ko have a very strong rice smell, I personally don't like that smell. The fried oyster glutinous rice was alright but a bit tasteless. The acha was nice. I love that. The oyster noodle was nice but the yellow noodles smell was strong. Lastly, we added another dish-fried oyster (that we should miss in the oyster restaurant :)). The taste was not bad indeed but brother still prefer Pavillion one. He said the oysters are not as big as those in Pavillion. I'll try the Pavillion stall next time. Overall 5/10 to me.
